In March 2018, Chris obtained a $650k jury verdict on contract and fraud claims in Portsmouth.
After decades of a successful business relationship between plaintiff Multi Textiles, Inc. and defendant Tidewater Area Central Laundry, Inc. d/b/a Share Hospital Services (“SHS”), a change of management occurred at SHS which breached an agreement between the businesses and negatively impacted our client.
After an extensive jury trial in Portsmouth Circuit Court, the jury found SHS had committed fraud against Multi Textiles. They awarded a total of $657,434.80 in damages to our client Multi Textiles.
The verdict was published in Virginia Lawyer’s Weekly and made their list of Virginia’s Largest Verdicts of 2017.
